West End

West End is a neighborhood in NW DC, not actually at the west end of the city, but at the west end of the K Street business district. West end is bounded by K Street to the south, Rock Creek Park to the north and west, and New Hampshire Avenue and 21st Street to the east. West End is a very urban neighborhood with luxury hotels, upscale condos and many fine dining options. With Georgetown, Foggy Bottom, Dupont Circle and George Washington University in walking distance, West End is popular with young people and older families. There are some Federal and Victorian style townhouses in West End as well, but they are few and rarely available.
