Truxton Circle

Truxton Circle is a small neighborhood in NW DC just to the south of Bloomingdale and LeDroit Park, west of North Capitol Street and east of Shaw. Historically known for it’s service organizations and soup kitchens, Truxton Circle is now becoming trendy with hipsters, with young families moving in and renovating row houses and developers putting in condos at lightning speed. The neighborhood is becoming more and more popular due to it’s proximity to downtown and the proliferation of neighborhood attractions in walking distance like Union Market, City Vista and all the shops and restaurants of neighboring Shaw. Real estate prices have shot up a lot in Truxton Circle in recent years, but it’s still possible to get a comfortable 3 bedroom rowhouse for around $700,000.

TRANSPORTATION

Truxton Circle is served by the NOMA and Mount Vernon Square metros.
