Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant is a culturally diverse neighborhood in NW DC, located just north of Adams Morgan, west of 16th Street and east of Rock Creek Park and the zoo. It’s a small, charming neighborhood with a commercial strip along Mount Pleasant Avenue with lots of independent businesses and restaurants. Adams Morgan and Columbia Heights are both in walking distance so there are plenty of places to shop, dine and play nearby. Mount Pleasant real estate is characterized by stunning Victorian, Federal and Colonial townhouses that sell between $900,000-$1,100,000, and there are plenty of condos as well.

TRANSPORTATION

Mount Pleasant does not have it’s own metro, but there are several bus lines going through Adams Morgan and up and down 16th Street. The Columbia Heights metro is about a 20 minute walk away.
