Kent

Kent is a wealthy enclave in NW DC, bounded by Loughboro Road to the north, and by Chain Bridge Road to the southeast, and MacArthur Boulevard to the southwest. Home to some of the most expensive real estate in the city, Kent is dominated on the west side of Arizona Avenue by center hall Colonials, and on the east side by an eclectic mix of more contemporary houses. An entirely residential neighborhood, Kent has no commercial corridor, but it’s easy enough to get to MacArthur Boulevard in Palisades for shopping and dining. Real estate prices generally range between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000, and it’s possible to go much higher as well.

TRANSPORTATION

Kent does not have a metro.  There are bus lines that run on Loughboro Road and MacArthur Boulevard into downtown DC.
