Burleith

Tucked in between Georgetown and Glover Park, Burleith is a moderately upscale neighborhood that provides residents easy access to Georgetown Unversity and Georgetown Hospital, and the conveniences of upper Georgetown along Wisconsin Avenue. Bounded by 35th Street to the east, Reservoir Road to the south, Whitehaven Parkway to the north and Glover Archbold Park to the west, Burleith is home to many graduate students, professors, medical professionals and other long time residents. Burleith real estate is characterized by Federal and Dutch Colonial style houses that sell anywhere from $600,000 for the small two bedrooms to $1,700,000 for the very large renovations.
TRANSPORTATION
Burleith is not served by a metro, but there are several bus lines going across town east and west, and also up and down Wisconsin Avenue.
