Brookland

Brookland is a neighborhood in northeast DC dominated by Catholic University and Providence Hospital and the new Arts Walk and Monroe Street Market. Brookland has a mixture of rowhomes and detached houses with big yards, which attracts lots of families looking for more space than is available in some of the denser neighborhoods closer to the center of town. Prices vary widely depending on proximity to the CU metro, size of the house and yard, and level of renovation, but you can still get a nicely renovated three bedroom house in the $700,000’s.
